Reports Report 2953u (Event 2953-2021)

Observer
Name Bret V
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Because of the warm weather the air conditioner was operating and it is close to my patio. Its noise prevented me from hearing any sound the fireball may have made. I have seen meteors many times that leave a trail or make a sound - this was not like that at all. My gut feeling is space debris burning-up, but I've never seen anything like that before to tell. It was bright orange and had "sparks" fly off at one point. It was not an aircraft (I am well acquainted with them). I hope this information is of some assistance.

Remarks At one point there was a short "burst" of material left behind the object. It looked like what you would see when molten metal splashes at a foundry.
