Remarks I am reporting this 12 hours after because I did not know this site existed when I first saw the fireball. My time is an approximation as I know approximately what time it was but I did not look at my watch at the instant it happened. The fireball lasted long enough for me to see it in detail but not long enough for the person who was with me to notice it before it burned out. It was going at an incredible speed but burned brighter and finally burned out completely before hitting earth (which appeared to be right above tree height). I reported that it did not have a terminal flash or smoke because they were not huge but it did get about twice as bright before it extinguished and left some smoke. It was amazing!
