Remarks | I was facing around 80 degrees away from where the event occurred, so when it occurred I noticed something bright in my peripheral vision before turning my head towards it to get a better look. It was moving relatively slowly (a "2" or even less on a 1-5 scale), and looked orb like, with no apparent train. I believe perspective to be a major factor here - either heading towards or away from me. I have tried to be as accurate as possible with start/end points although I may be a little off with the altitudes (above the horizon), but the end point was close to the side of a building, giving me a good reference point, so I'm confident those are correct +- 3 deg.. It's been a long time since I saw a meteor with any colour, so this one was a nice surprise. |
