I first thought this might be the trail of a firework until I noticed how fast it was moving. Also the way it came through the atmosphere and the speed and then the free fall from the sky indicated to me it might be space debris from a rocket or satellite. Sonething seriously to look into.

before the flash it was all white, before it hit the plain of the horizon it busted into first bright red and then faded into colors mentioned.
