I've seen some amazing meteors but this was like every meteor shower I have seen all the best ones, all the little ones combined into one. I initially was in shock and couldn't figure it out. I thought it was a massive missile barrage then fireworks. By the time I realized and tried to get my phone my view was starting to get obstructed. Ran to get better field of view turned phone on/off by accident on again got two pictures about 5 seconds after it started and had significantly diminished. Leading object is one of the five bright pieces. At this time there were probably still fifty fragments in the sky. I did not capture nearly all of it in the picture. It was overcast a0nd I do not believe any stars were visible.

Remarks
At least a hundred separate spark trails miles wide and long. Around five very bright white meteors towards the front of the pack and a holy cow barrage spreading out the whole mass enveloped on bright orange yellow red speaks. That faded into just the five brighter ones as the travel slightly north of due east and faded out of sight through the clouds a little north of Mt Ranier.

Remarks
Incredible fragmentation probably just before it burst into my vision. Hundreds of pieces at least.
