| Remarks | This event was spectacular enough to stop me in my tracks. The object had a definitive tail that seemed to change from white to yellow to orange. The tail got longer, then shorter, then the tail disappeared, and then the bright object disappeared in a flash. After several seconds, I heard something like the sound of distant thunder that rumbled on for a few more seconds. I had never heard a sound like that before either, so all together it was a stunning experience. |
