| Remarks | Just taking out the garbage, stopped to admire the clear sky and few stars visible through the lights of suburbia, and turned south and there it was! At about 60 degrees above horizon, sharp, bright, clean white light coming nearly straight down, then went dark at about 20-25degrees above horizon. Could have been a mile away, or 20 miles away, was my second thought........first thought: a solitary bit of fireworks, but I really do not believe that is what it was. |
