Remarks | I've seen multiples fireballs and meteors in the past (I work in astronomy) but I think it's the first time I saw one during daytime! The brightness was hard to estimate because of this but it was much brighter than Venus. If if would have been nighttime, I'm pretty sure this would have been at least as bright as the full Moon. I'm not 100% sure for the altitude because I was driving, but it was somewhere between 20° and 40°. |

Remarks | The fireball was during daytime, a few minutes before sunset. The trail was easily visible, similar in appearance to a contrail, but fainter, thinner and is deformed much more rapidly. I was driving but could see it for at least 2 minutes after the fireball. |
