It was amazing ...kind of scary ... especially when I saw the sky "light up" like it was day time before seeing the bright white explosion.

I was driving on a rural road. It was very dark and all of a sudden the sky turned a "lightened blue" color ... almost like it was day time. That's when I leaned forward and saw a very bright white explosion high in the north west sky lasting 1-2 seconds
