Reports Report 907bs (Event 907-2021)

Observer
Name Ian R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I have a robust scientific ideology and am a practicing clinical physiologist. Our Tv is situated in a bay window which is at eye level when sitting on the settee. The observer li oriented north west. . I can’t rationally explain why I went to look out of the window at that time, but I did! Second later I observed the ‘fireball’. There was no obvious trail. The brightness of the object was homogenous, dense and with a luminescence/intensity akin to that of a proximal street light. The object disappeared suddenly well above the horizon. The whole event lasted approximately 4 seconds. Very strangely, I had witnessed a very similar event ( ‘shooting star’) yesterday (late evening), though not as spectacular! This was of similar duration, but the shooting star was much more overhead and heading directly south. Hope this account is useful .
