| Remarks | The sight almost looked like a large bottle rocket or maybe a roman candle, but it couldn't have been because it came from above, not rising from below and arching back to earth. Also, no "pop" characteristic of the launch of a bottle rocket or manmade fireworks, and no others like it followed. It fizzled out quickly - looked like it broke up as it hit the earth's atmosphere - and I feel fortunate to have observed it because it only lasted about 1-2 seconds. I've seen a shooting star a couple of times in my life but nothing so clear as this before! |

| Remarks | The trail seemed to fizzle out quickly, like it must have burned up due to the friction of entering the atmosphere. It was small but very bright. Amazing sight! |
