It was a clear sky after the clouds had moved through. Stars could be seen. The object appeared to disappear or burn up in the far distance. This is a spot where I regularly ride my bike at night. Spotting planes is common. When I first saw the movement to my left, I assumed a plane. But then I quickly realize it was something else.
