I seek out meteor showers and have seen a couple meteors that were truly spectacular- ones you remember for ever- this blew them out of the water. It was so unexpectedly large and bright that for a moment it frightened me just automatically. It was mind blowing.

much smaller pinpoints of light flashing around the fireball
