| Remarks | Although relatively speaking it was moving very fast my previous experience of observing meteor showers is that they are extremely fast, small and high in the sky. In contrast seeing this surprised me by its relatively low speed, brightness, size, being so low in the sky and the almost horizontal trajectory |

| Remarks | I managed to follow the fireball as I was looking at the moon and it went level with my eyes. My instinctive reaction to follow it in the brief time that it went across the sky meant my eyes moved on past the fragmentation in expectation of its trajectory. I saw what I believe to be a small compact explosion and then darkness with no light matter scattered. |
