Remarks I may have the magnitude wrong. There's a lot of ambient light in the area, and it still looked bright. If it didn't burn up, it looked like it may have hit close by, maybe even in Northern CT. I'm sure you know how deceiving they can be though; I'm just saying it was the 'closest' one I've seen since the 70's.

Remarks If by terminal you mean at the end of it's journey, then no. I did see that after the initial streak (~2/3) it went dark momentarily before brightly shining again, and the it was gone.
