The head was extremely bright. Bluish white. In my judgement the color of the head was similar to that given off by professional flash equipment. (I used to be a professional photographer) The green part of the tail was particularly striking. It was a clear blue sky at the time of the sighting. Unfortunately my view was limited by buildings. Quite a wonderful thing to see.
