Remarks | I was seated in the driver's seat of my car, moving slower than ten miles per hour, with the windows up at the time of the observation. The fireball dropped into view in the top left of my windshield, was visible for 2-3 seconds, an icy blue glow, brighter in the center with a hazy halo, and disappeared from view behind the roofline of the homes ahead of me on the left side of the street. I can verify the time to the minute by seeing when I left my driveway on a home security camera. Unfortunately, the camera's field of view stopped short of the direction of the fireball. |
