The area the meteor appeared is near an airport and there are lots of flights moving around, but the speed and trajectory seemed very different to me (more of an arcing motion than a flat decent)

small bits seemed to be flaking off, but the object was intact enough by the time it went out of sight that I wouldn't necessarily say it had fully disintegrated.
