Remarks At first it was glittering but then faded to resemble a jets contrail

Remarks I was driving east on I-94 when I saw a flash like lightning but the sky was clear no moon. I looked north and saw the fire ball traveling west parallel to the horizon. I immediately called my coworker who was traveling in the the same direction as me but about 150 miles west of me. He saw the same thing.
