This is the most remarkable event I have ever seen in the sky. The object must have been massive to have lasted that long burning in the atmosphere like that. I would love to know what it was.

Saw one piece break off after the first quarter of the way across the sky. When at its farthest point it looked like I was looking at possibly two objects but couldn't be sure.
