I saw an additional meteor of approximately the same size and stellar magnitude the night before (October 09 at about 21:00 hrs). It was visible for only a second or two, falling straight down. I was facing S/SW.

Looked like about 3 smaller bright sparks that burned off as the fireball continued on it's slow path
