Remarks At first I thought someone had hit a traffic signal pole, and that the green signal light was flying through the sky. There was some light overcast/broken clouds: the object was visible through some of the cloud cover. In the open sky is was very bright, arc light green glaring off my windshield and reflected light from surrounding terrain. As it passed behind cloud cover it was still visible, but fuzzy and slightly obscured. Hard to use your descriptive tools. It was first visible very high: out my moon roof first, then from the top of the windshield. It seemed to arc sharply down towards the horizon. I was headed south on Little Rd just before the intersection of Ridge Rd. The bright green light moved very quickly from high in the sky, down towards the horizon. IF (and I do not know the cardinal directions/compass points) IF Little Rd heads due south at this point, it would have started at 180deg down and west to approximately 190deg. Really spectacular! I've never seen a green one before, nor have I seen possible shadows/reflections on ground. It was especially interesting observing it behind and then clear of the clouds. The moon was quiet large, partially obscured by clouds and very low on the horizon behind and to my left. I actually could not see the moon until I turned left (generally east) on Ridge Rd. The moon was NOT a factor in object I saw.
