Reports Report 5316k (Event 5316-2020)

Observer
Name Dana S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks My wife and I were looking at an unusually orange crescent moon due to the filter affect of the smoke from the fires in the west. The meteor was also effected by this "filter" in the atmosphere eliminating any view of a trail or breaking up. It looked like a round disc traveling through a hazy sky the diameter of 3 Jupiters for approximately 2 seconds and quite bright.
