Reports Report 5243o (Event 5243-2020)

Observer
Name Melanie R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I heard the neighbors towards the back corner of my house started yelling and asking each other if they saw that in the sky. I walked back into my back yard and yelled through the bushes at them and asked if they also saw something in the sky. They started yelling, "Yes! we thought we were tripping, I'm glad someone else witnessed it". We all agreed that it did not look like a falling star because we did not see a trail/ tail and it just appeared. They stated that they saw a triangle outline explosion that started disintegrating.

Remarks It was a diamond shape explosion and then the object disintegrated, first the top portion (triangle top) disintegrated fastest , then the bottom was shaped into an upside down triangle with only the outline. It stayed in one position, no tail, no fall out, no sound. The explosion and bright white happened in one position in the sky, the object did not shoot through the sky or fall like a falling star. Neighbors saw it too.
