| Remarks | I was backpacking in Mt Rainier National Park, wilderness camping off trail. Initial angles are difficult to determine. Initially the light just gree in intensity without moving across the skys very much, like it was coming straight towards me and the fireball briefly lit up the forest. Then it sped over my head and over the horizon as I sat at to watch it go. As I was checking the time and marvelling at the experience, I head a distant but solid boom. |
