Remarks I was telling some people at the Taylorsville lake to keep their eyes on the skies because of the active meteor showers. I went to the porter potty (lol) and when I came out the smoke trail was there and I had missed the actual fireball. I had been looking in that direction just moments before and there was no possibility of it being from a fire... firework... or cloud. It was definitely a smoke trail from a fireball. I have many many years looking up and am lucky enough to have pretty dark skies where I am located. It lingered for quite some time. It occurred right before moonrise and was up and to the left from where the moon was coming up.
