Remarks | I was searching the sky for Neowise, scanning, using 10x40 binoculars. This object appeared in my binocular view and I saw it only through the bins and tracked it across the sky. I could see a roundish object (head) and glowing gases coming off the front and sides of the object and forming a distinct bright tail. Must have been quite low as I could see the object clearly and the gases sort of pulsing around it. Because I only saw it through the bins I can only hazard a guess at some of the other details and time was sometime shortly after midnight. The object must have passed close to RAF Marham. I have used bins and scopes for most of my life - birds and aircraft. Might it have been scape junk? |
