Remarks This is the first meteor or fireball I’ve ever seen. I live in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, WA and saw it come out across the water right over West Seattle. I was sitting in my brightly lit living room and happened to look out the window when I saw a very distinct green fireball with a tail come downward. I immediately googled what I’d seen and came upon your site where I see tonight July 30 happens to be the peak of the alpha Capricornids meteor shower. I then sat on my balcony for about 45 min as I read on your site that they average 5 an hour but I didn’t see anymore in the time I was on my balcony.
