| Remarks | I was looking through a telescope when someone in the group said look at that. It took at least a second for me to stand up and turn around, by which time the fireball was almost due north. It was so bright that I thought that someone had let off a firework in the park until I noticed the trajectory. It was unusual due to its brightness, the sense of it being close, and the length of time it was visible. |

| Remarks | As the fireball neared the horizon, it split into at least two and possibly three pieces (at that point it was visible through some small trees). |
