It looked so close I thought at first it was fireworks or a satellite crashing. (I guess it could be a satellite, who knows? That’s why I was looking here, to see if anything was reported.)

Fragmentation
Observation
Yes
Remarks
I was startled by a yellow flash/explosion in my left peripheral vision with a red glow and then seemed to break into 2 or more large pieces and was now on the right side about 35 degrees above the ground. I’ve never seen anything like it. It looked crazy close!
