| Remarks | I was East of Sparks, Nevada on Interstate 80, headed west. There are hills around. There was a very bright shooting star ahead (west-ish) it was high up. It was moving toward the north. The tail spread out and turned colors (yellowish & blueish I think). There was differentiation of brightness and color in it. As it spread out it faded out. It is like I imagine something big breaking up in the atmosphere. I did my best with your questions, but I was driving at the time and am no expert. |

| Remarks | The trail spread out and turned from white to yellowish, and blueish. It seemed like whatever it was was breaking up. |
