Reports Report 3142a (Event 3142-2020)

Observer
Name Ricky K
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I did not see the fireball appear, I noticed it in mid-flight. There was a thin layer of cloud lit up by the fireball. I can’t completely discount the possibility that I saw a firefly and misjudged its distance above me, but I probably saw a fireball. (Or at least a shooting star made to appear unusually bright by the hazy cloud layer diffusing its light.)
