| Remarks | Trail and flash occurred just west of overhead from the southern end of populated Goodyear, AZ, (about 10 to 15 degrees west - Buckeye?) for about 2 seconds with a trail that seemed to to change from yellow to red and then a distinct green explosive flash at the end (Barium?) that I estimate occurred slightly north of my position, say just about above interstate I-10?. It was difficult to judge the elevation, since it was somewhat overhead, but as a pilot, I estimate maybe 10000 to 20000' above MSL - hard to say when it happens so fast! But it was spectacular! The green coloring was intriguing. What was the green compound? |
