Reports Report 2779cu (Event 2779-2020)

Observer
Name Barbara B
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Especially after insurrection, marching, destruction for maybe 11 days all around us, it felt like a gift from God and the universe. I saw a meteorite about seven years ago, just half a block north, same direction, arcing from north to south approximately. I think it was in August. It was not so colorful but still stunning. It has been quite hot and dry, making the sunset and sky spectacular for viewing. Will go walking with one of my dogs again tonight to observe. PS It's really hard to move the angle lines on some of your diagrams.Thank you.

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Was as if gentle soundless firework. It was extremely bright then began to fragment and disappear as it fell towards Earth. Something magnificent as if direct from hand of God. I was walking my dog. My knees went weak. Two independent neighbors also saw. One, a college student, said she thought she saw yellow, 1/3 block north from me.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Same as above. So sparkly, as if something only God could create. The white part was the long silvery white tail or trail. It appeared suddenly in Western sky on an exceptionally beautiful sky night. Griffith Park Observatory is visible due North, about three miles. The meteorite or fireball left as fast as it arrived.
