I'm fortunate enough to say that I've seen about 6 events somewhat similar to this. A few I've seen crossed over my whole view of the sky. Cool! But, this one was unique in the way it traversed its short path so slowly. I estimate 13-14 seconds viewing time.

Remarks
It might have gotten brighter within the first 4 or 5 seconds that I was viewing it. Not sure if that's considered term. explosion/flash but that's when I began to see orange fragmentation.
