It was like a once in a lifetime experience and I am 46 and I had a similar experience 20 years ago near Little Rock AR but it seemed farther away from me this seemed to be very close and I expected it to hit the earth and explode but it vanished.

It was slightly wider than the fireball getting wider at the end of the trail a not as bright as the fireball. Similar to a firework falling down and burning with a tail.
