I wasn't able to see the full meteor hit our atmosphere but i was able to clearly see the sky light up the way ive never seen before. And i have watched lightning storms my entire life and i know it wasnt lightning because there was no clouds in the entire sky from horizon or horizon. As well as ive never heard thunder last longer than 10 seconds. And I mannaged to text a few of my friends and one was able to get a good look at the meteor

It sounded like thunder at first but it wavered between loud booms and what I would compare to a rocket engine then loud booms that went on for at least 25 to 40 seconds

It lit up the entire sky and my whole property like lightning where the entire landskape was drenched in white light but the boom went on for over 25 seconds which made me beleave it was not lighting at all
