| Remarks | The object appeared in the sky suddenly and disappeared the same way. Though it appeared to be falling directly toward the horizon, it disappeared before it got there. No visual evidence remained in the sky. This may seem silly, but I walked in the direction of the object afterwards, and found a pile of debris by the Belmar Marina (the debris had been there since Hurricane Sandy) and it was steaming. None of the other piles were steaming. However, the debris was not scattered and when we climbed the pile, there was no apparent impact. |
