Remarks I was working on my koi pond when I saw the reflection of it on the surface of the water. I looked up to the sky just in time to see it disappear over the horizon. I thought it was a bottle rocket at first but there was no sound and when I looked up towards it I realized it was not a firework but almost like what resembles shooting star, just much closer and brighter. I returned to my work and a couple of minutes later I heard a large boom. It didn’t sound like a firework as it was deep in tone like the sound of dropping a heavy object and little concussion after. Both my wife and I heard it and stopped to discuss what it would have been.
