| Remarks | Small, like a star and intensely bright against a clear blue sky. It vanished immediately leaving a slight vapor trail, then, having progressed further, it reappeared as an equally bright streak (perhaps even brighter) with a longer vapor trail. Because I was still in the car, I can't comment on any audible signature. First I noted the time, then I watched for any additional occurrences. I am not certain that I accurately positioned myself on your map... I was at the Willow Point coastal viewing area. I could see someone, maybe 100 yards to the south and I went over to find a woman who was beachcombing - I asked her if someone was possibly firing a flare gun, or model rocket? She said 'Did you see that too! |
