Remarks it was the brightest meteor i have ever seen. It came from almost directly above my head and was so bright that i thought i could feel heat from it, but i don't think so. I couldn't hear it but i did see it fragment twice. I was facing ~70-80 degrees east and saw a very long trail of intense bright, orange and yellow light and then i saw a chunk of it fracture off and leave its own trail at a 90 degree angle that went north and another a second later, again at 90 degrees. it was smaller but also went to the north side. truly remarkable. i made a wish! I was hoping for some info about a possible shower in the area. I also saw a smaller and higher burn going from south to north from my location about 10 minutes later.

Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks I saw a very bright and large flash came from behind my nowhere and burn so bright for 3 seconds. It was so bright that i think i felt heat but perhaps, i'm just imaging that aspect. there were two fragments. first was large, second was smaller, but both tore off at 90 degree angles and went to the north from my position.
