My wife is a physician and I am a programmer. We are fans of the atmosphere and are scientists...this is the only time I’ve been so awed by a shooting star that I reported it.

Remarks
It looked almost like a firework trailing and dropping dots but moved only like a meteor can....then ended in a flash
Terminal flash
Observation
Yes
Remarks
It got very bright at the end and disappeared. Not like a firework by like a light bulb surging then going dark instantly leaving only a ghost image in my retina
Fragmentation
Observation
Yes
Remarks
The trail was unlike anything other than a “shooting star”...it left drops along the way and while I could tell it was moving fast, it seemed slow. The movement was more of an arc than a perfect straight line....the drops lasted only fractions but were quite bright
