Reports Report 1810g (Event 1810-2012)

Observer
Name Dale
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks It began in the southeast sky, near Aries, about magnitude -1.0, bluish-white, moving toward the northwest in a slightly-curved path. After about 15° it exploded with a flashbulb-like burst of at least magnitude -10; I momentarily lost my night vision. Judging by the remaining train, it immediately faded but remained visible for about 5° more, ending near Gamma Peg. Spectacular!
