Remarks | I regularly hike at night in the city and I've seen around 10 shooting stars in the last 2 years; this one had a far longer and a bit thicker trail and lasted about twice to four times as long as all previous ones did. The colour was distinctly orange; all previous ones had been very white. I was wearing headphones, so I might have missed any sound associated with it, but I probably would have noticed a loud one. I'm least sure about the angles I noted down - the trail felt really long, going through maybe half of my visual field, but the angles that felt like they made sense geographically don't feel appropriate for how long the trail in the sky felt. Also, there might not have been a lot of or even any other witnesses at all because most people are staying at home due to COVID-19 right now. |
