| Remarks | This is what I wrote in my journal: 3-13-20, 7:28 pm EDT, extremely bright meteor traveling due west with moderate swiftness from zenith and expiring at about 35 degrees of altitude with a transit of roughly two seconds and leaving a faint trail maybe ten degrees long that lasted about fifteen minutes; was pure white, emitted no sparks, was brighter than nearby Venus, which was nearby at magnitude -4.1, so, say, approximately magnitude -5 |
