I first saw the road light up in front of me as I was walking south or southeast. I whirled around 180 degrees and saw the meteor approaching me. I thought it was coming down on me, and I let out an involuntary yell of fear. By then it had burned out.

Remarks
I saw a bright ball about the size of an automobile headlight at 150 m. It burned out and the fragments moved to the east. I saw one piece glow red briefly while the other pieces just went black.
