Reports Report 960a (Event 960-2020)

Observer
Name John R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Sunday, 23 Feb 2020, ~18:05, heading south on I380 just outside of Scranton, PA. About 41.380478,-75.580.021 (from Goggle maps). A fireball appeared above the road ahead (south) of me. The fireball was coming almost vertically down biased slightly west. It appeared/I noticed it low in the sky. A truck blocked me from seeing what happened to it as it approached the ground. It seemed to be miles in the distance. It was not as fast moving as a meteor; perhaps some space/satellite debris? The shape was that of a lamp bulb with a short tail. Not a long needle shape like in a meteor shower.
