I am an avid skywatcher. I sit on my balcony every night with binoculars to watch planes near DFW. I have seen meteors before, but this was very strange. Not sure if it was a meteor.

I was on my 3rd fl. Balcony looking towards Dfw airport. I noticed a plane with a smaller unknown craft that was not moving. I was watching for 15 seconds when I saw the unknown craft drop what appeared to be a fireball. It then had a smaller fire ball come out of the 1st fireball. I actually thought it looked like a Ufo not a meteor. Very strange.
