Remarks | This was the brightest, seemingly closest comet I have seen, and I had never seen one that left such an extraordinary tail, like jet stream. |

Remarks | The train/shooting star was pale blue, though my husband says white when er first saw it in a. Straight er linr at first sitting, but then before the object seemed to explode, tail stream was wider and a little erratic. Almost wobbly before the object got very bright white about 20-30degrees above horizon, like it had caught fire. The stream it left behind at that point lasted several minutes, and looked like a corkscrew version of a plane's stream, though this was definitely not a plane. Unfortunately, my husband left phone in car, the picture I took of tail over tree on horizon looks like faint smoke |
