| Remarks | I went up to one of the bedrooms in our house to get something and close the curtains. As I looked out of the window (in a south, south-easterly direction) I saw a bright light descending sharply from the sky. I initially thought it might be something like a light aircraft in a dive. However before the light was anywhere close to the built up horizon it suddenly grew in intensity and then disappeared completely without any visible trace. The sky is exceptionally clear this evening and there are a number of stars, aircraft planets and moon clearly visible. This was something different. |
